- Coffee. Coffee is one of my favorite things. It doesn’t matter what time of day it is, I’ll always have a cup. It’s part of my daily routine, something familiar and comforting.
-
Wooden Sea Turtle. I’ve always loved the beach and the ocean. Coming from southern Illinois, where the nearest beach was sixteen hours away, being close to the water was one of the reasons I chose Flagler. It reminds me of that connection.
Shell. One of my favorite beach activities is looking for shells. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of my sisters and me walking along the shore, searching for the coolest shells we could find.
-
Candle. I included a candle because there is almost always one burning when I’m home. The warmth a candle brings is one of my favorite things, and it makes any space feel calm and comforting.
-
A Piece of Pasta. This might seem random, but it’s meaningful to me. I love to cook, and it’s one of my creative outlets. Cooking isn’t just practical; it’s something I genuinely enjoy and use to express creativity.
-
Pencil. The pencil represents my love for drawing. It’s something I’ve always enjoyed and one of the main ways I express myself.
-
Ring. This ring belonged to my great-grandmother, and it’s my favorite piece of jewelry that I own. I wear it every day, and it reminds me of my family and where I come from.
-
Bible. I chose my Bible because faith is a big part of my life. It guides me and serves as a constant source of strength.
